Below you will see all these various components as they are applied to our own Photos Application. It should be noted that none of these pages are mandatory but the more you include in your application the richer the experience becomes (for example, no one’s going to install your app called “Lefty” that is only a left nav link)

Nokia announced WidSets, a mobile widget platform available for Java MIDP 2.0 phones, including of course non-Nokia phones. Put short, WidSets is for the mobile what Netvibes is for the browser. I’ve played around with WidSets for 1 hour on both my SonyEricsson K750i as well as a more recent – and higher resolution – Nokia N80, and I must say that I am impressed. Even at the 176 x 220 pixels on the K750i navigation is a charm.
“widgets” for cell phones. pretty useless given that most carriers lock down their phones so much. i wonder if this will lead to consumers clamoring for more open phones
i had missed this earlier. sort of a lightweight integration. they allow interaction with “hot spots” on your page, ie a list of interesting places.
