the meeting was more interesting than usual, maybe the webcast helped? i ran into sam klein and shimon rura at the dinner. shimon is working on some innovative blog post categorization aggregator. it is not ready for prime time yet, but you’ll find it if you are dedicated 🙂

Standards-based content management

slides for my seminar on open source content management are now available. the seminar, while highlighting Apache Lenya, had a much broader scope and focussed on best practice for content import, content structure, layout approaches and helped attendees to separate the XML hype from the real goods.

.. is not a virtue of mine. yet i have been morphed into a homo commutus, and i am spending more time than i ever thought possible in transit. being offline most of the time has been “interesting”. funny how i can focus much better when i am not tied into my social networks though.
there are 2 modes to my work, idea capturing / synthesizing and implementation. the first is very much a p-time activity, the second m-time. now, to adjust.
